Cosentini Mission Critical provides Consulting, Engineering Design and Commissioning services for Data Centers and mission critical related facilities. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals specifically focused on mission critical design and commissioning. Both the design and commissioning teams are independent of each other. We have a proactive approach with the entire project team (i.e. Owners, contractors, etc.) and an established QC program during every stage of the process. We are focused on meeting client's objectives (budget, schedule, specialized proprietary designs, concept designs, etc.) assuring reliability and performance of critical facilities and infrastructure.

It is our belief that the conceptual stage of planning is extremely important when designing a new data center or even expanding an existing facility. We work closely with the project team to understand the immediate needs and wants in addition to future projected requirements in order to provide solutions with clarity. Through this process we have developed concept designs and case studies for our clients. There is no one size fits all solution to making a data center more efficient. Each facility varies by geographic location, industry, executive management vision, budget, building construction, tier classification, infrastructure redundancy, etc. Our approach is to tailor the design to the unique requirements of the organization and facility.

Cosentini Mission Critical brings to each project a wide-ranging expertise from designing multiple UPS systems, central chiller plants, and standby power plants to raised floor distribution. We are experienced from retrofitting and expanding existing mission critical facilities to designing facilities from the ground up.

Our commissioning team’s approach facilitates the relevant and timely communications amongst all project team members through a high level of detailed documentation and management of an interactive issue log to deliver a project on schedule. We place a high level of importance on being involved during the design stage in order to eliminate timely and/or costly delays. Additionally, our commissioning team provides interactive and hands on facility training with a unique automated training tool to prepare operators to run the facility when turned over. This is a proactive method that can help eliminate the potential for operator error during daily operations.
